We have a lunch reservation booked for Be Our Guest in May. I know the menu and cost is now the same for lunch and dinner. Does anyone know if the Beast walks through at all during lunchtime now that it's not quick serve?

Yes, he does. During our December lunch visit he walked through twice, I estimate we were in the restaurant for about an hour and 15. We got a good view as we were sitting right on the aisle near where he enters the ballroom dining area, but he does not stop and interact. He may wave at you if you wave, and he does pause and bow (unfortunately that wasn't in our direction though!). It was still cool to see him.

We ate there on Sunday. We were in the restaurant for about 75 minutes. I was getting ready to ask our waiter if they’d changed protocol since they’re back to face-to-face character interactions because Beast hadn’t made an appearance when he finally walked through and waved. He lingered a bit longer for people to take pics as opposed to previously when it seemed like he was walking as quickly as he could. The two times I ate there prior to this he appeared two or three times. This time was only the once. Don’t know if this is now the norm, or we caught it at a weird time.

We ate there Friday and it was the exact same thing. Almost like it was a race to get in and out
