There was nothing available for 8/30 already on 2/27. But don't give up. Something will become available when someone cancels

I guess if you are calling at 180 you must be off site? On site guests are definitely taking advantage of the +10 days and essentially scooping up all of the reservations. When we made our reservations for September (a slow time by most opinions), I was successful at 180+5 for the day I wanted, but it was a late time for us. 2 days later when my parents decided to join us there was NOTHING available, and we were still 180+3! Keep trying though .... People do drop their reservations and they also seem to open them in waves. I was able to book a dinner for 2 for March 9 just about 3 weeks ago. Also keep an eye on the cancelled threads here - lots of dates and times there. Your best bet will be around that 45 day mark when people cancel trips.

We actually preferred the lunch, so unless you have your heart set on meeting the Beast, it really is a great option. You have more freedom to 'roam about' the castle and see everything. With dinner, you are seated where they have a table, at lunch you get to pick wherever you would like to sit.

I didn't realize about that (180 +10). Looks like everyone off site will never have a chance unless someone cancels.

I just read a thread where someone got online first thing this morning and was having trouble with the site and decided to call and got everything they wanted (even BOG, which was showing no availability online). If by calling you don't get what you want, keep trying every day multiple times a day as people cancel all the time and you never know if/when something will become available. Good luck.

I was able to get a reservation for two people, so I told my son who really wants to go, to enjoy dinner with his mom.I'm just happy I was able to get him and my wife a reservation. I 'll try as we get closer to get a third seat added, if it doesn't work, I'll just walk around MK and eat turkey legs and churros and go on the Haunted mansion a couple of times!

How thoughtful of you and what a nice thing to do for your son . Definitely keep trying to get an ADR for 3. You still have plenty of time and I think your chances are good that something will open up .

Keep trying. At exactly 180 days for our dates in July (we didn't have our resort booked yet) I was able to get 2 tables - 4 and 2 for our party of 6. Tried 2 weeks later and had a choice of tables for parties of 6 at prime times.

I have to second this idea. I always always always call for my ADRs. It can take some time at first but it's so much easier. I give the CM my top picks and must haves and they can search the entire trip. This is handy for the popular places like BOG and Cali Grill, CRT etc.

Now I will say that on my 180+ date last year I didn't get BOG. BUT they encouraged me to keep trying. I called once a week for about a month and a half and eventually got a reservations. So people really do cancel that one!

Failing that there's always the Fastpass+ option. I was lucky enough to do both so I tried both Dinner and lunch there and they really are different experiences. The menu options are different so one may appeal to you and your family more than the other.

What a great outlook . . . .I sure do hope that you get to find a seat for yourself as well though! Really, keep trying and watch the cancellation threads because you never know what may pop up!

Also, try putting in a party of 4. Sometimes there is a problem with odd number parties. If you make a reservation for 4, that would be the same size table they would give to a party of 3. You will not be charged a no-show fee if you show up with 1 less person.

Because people who are arriving on 8/20 were already to make their reservations 10 days before you. Once you are at 180 days you can book for up to 10 days of your trip. Therefore people vacationing earlier then you scooped up ADR's. It's very frustrating we are going 8/23-8/31 and I booked 180 days out the only time I could get was on 8/28 at 9:20 or 8/30 at either 5:20, 7:55 or. 9:10 8/30 had a lot of times because it was towards the end of my trip

Don't depend online. My 180 mark was yesterday online was showing nothing available for BOG but called and got the day and time I wanted!

We're going in May. When our 180 + 10 opened up, we got an adr for about 5PM, earlier than I wanted. But a few months later, they opened up later times. This also was the case at several other popular restaurants we had adrs for, including CRT @ dinner & Hollywood Brown Derby. So it is possible they didn't release all the times yet. Keep checking & keep an eye on these boards. Someone always posts when new times open up.

My ADR day was 3/4 and there was nothing showing for BOG. I checked the App this morning, and every time is available. I really believe they don't release all the time slots at once.

For whatever reason, a lot of the BOG inventory seems to be loaded much later than the 180 day mark. I was stalking a reservation for early April for quite a while before suddenly lots of prime times popped up for any day during my week in early January.

Just keep checking periodically. You'll get one.
