We booked the dinner for August. I was only able to get a 4:30 on one day of our whole trip. that is saying a lot because I was able to book CRT with no problem as it is not a busy week. I am wondering if many people still do not know that is now a signature restaurant! Keep trying because things do open up.

I guarantee most people aren't aware of the new prix fixe menu. I had a friend the other day tell me that she booked BOG so her daughter can meet the Beast and they plan to just have dessert and drinks. This is for October. I told her she can no longer do this as it's now prix fixe and she said she was going to try anyway. She follows some groups on FB but not obsessed like me, so I figure, if she is not aware, the average Disney guest isn't as well. I think it will take some time for work to get around.

I used the Touring Plans reservation finder about a month ago for BOG, and it found me a table for 5 on the desired day within a week. It's the only time I've used it, so not sure how typical that is, but I was thrilled and would at least recommend giving it a try. Good luck!

I recommend this as well! Funnily enough my situation is exactly the same. I used it to find dinner for 5 at BOG and on 5/18, it found me a table for 5 at 5:15pm on the desired day of 5/20. It was also the only time I used it, and you do need to be very quick when you get the alert (I had missed 2 prior ones because it was late at night both times) but it was awesome and I wouldn't hesitate to use the service again.

There are so many cancellations available for all the WDW restaurants, we rarely miss dining anywhere we want. We tried BOG for the first time last week, having gotten a reservation less than 1 week out. Just keep checking.

You can also start checking the day before you'll be in the park. That's when people have 24 hours to cancel if they want to avoid the fee. My husband snagged us an 11:35 lunch reservation the morning of our MK visit last week. He checked immediately when he woke up and got it.
