Hello everyone !

So I'm having a huge dilemma and I'm not sure how to fix to issue. I will be going to Orlando from September 22 to October 1st. Me and my boyfriend are getting a 5 day park tickets and I'm trying to avoid park hopper since the price increase is insane to me.

So ! I'm a HUGE beauty and the beast fan and was so excited to go eat at BOG. Due to medical reasons I had to stop focusing on our trip and by the time I was able to make reservations for BOG all I could get was for September 25 (Wednesday ) for 740. But based on our schedule and the crowd Calendar that Wednesday would be HS and not MK. I'm not sure if its worth it to buy park hoppers just to go to the reservation. I was hoping to get outside perspective.
Is it possible for other dates to show up ? Idealistically I wanted it for the 24th (Tuesday ). So what would you guys do? Just cancel the reservation and wait for the following year or hope somebody drops a reservation , OR just buy the park hopper?

I say keep your reservation and abandon the crowd calendar. The times you are going shouldn't be too terrible anyway.

I'd say adjust your plans tentatively to go on the 25th, but keep trying for the 24th. Tables will show up when/if people cancel, so if you keep trying often, there's a chance you may be able to snag one.

I was there those exact date last year and the crowds were no where to be found. Keep the reservation and hit HS another day. Enjoy your meal. We ate at BOG in February. We had a party of 9 and to get a reservation we split the group. 2 tables in the ballroom and I got to eat in the west wing. It is quieter and a bit more as far as the lighting and such.

everyone had a different entree and no one was disappointed. We also had a blast with the beast after dinner. In the hallway on the way out pay attention to the suits of armor.

If it is just the two of you, try and get a reservation day of arrival. We were there the 3rd week it opened. The day we went there were people getting reservations. Granted a handful so, be nice and you may get worked in. Also, we had to ADR for BOG that week and dropped the second since my daughter at the time would have been unbearable at a 9pm ADR.

Hold onto it and keep trying, you can add park hoppers or change dates around last minute and you don't have to cancel your BOG one until 24hrs before. Plenty of time for you to keep your options open while you wait for a second reservation

Also note that the 24th is a MNSSHP night so the get a reservation past 7:00 you will need a party ticket
