Was just wondering if you have to eat a full meal at Be our Guest. We got 9:00 reservations on an emh night and thinking it might be a little late for my nephew and thinking maybe we can go for dessert... Is this a possibility?!

hee hee, I just asked this as well, we have eaten there for dinner and lunch, lunch was way better IMHO, but I think my daughter would love to see the beast and the desserts are very good (and my oldest can have a dessert there bc they are all nut free made on premises). Someone told me yes, so I think we are going to do it.

Absolutely. For any non-buffet or prix fixe, you can order whatever you want. This goes for BOG, this goes for a place like Cali Grill, this goes for Beaches & Cream.

No one is going to force you to eat a steak if you want wine and cupcake at dinner.

We have an 9:20p ADR for our arrival night. Thinking about trying to get a same day Skipper's Canteen and then go to BOG for dessert. So, we are doing the same!

yay!!! love the inside and want to go but 900 is late for dinner for a 2yr old!!! bring on the desserts!!! plus then we get to use emh!!

We had a late ADR last year for 9:30pm, and we just ordered dessert. We all got something different, including the grey stuff, and my favorite by far was the strawberry cream cheese cupcake. So, so good!! We are doing this again this year-just going for dessert, so my daughter can meet the beast again. And, BTW, those with little girls, if she is wearing a Belle dress, the Beast will dance with her! My 5 year old daughter went up and curtsied, and the Beast bowed, and then they danced. It was awesome, to say the least. My daughter loved it!

Order as little/much as you want. We have split meals, and just ordered dessert. We always get the grey stuff because it tastes great, and it's the "grey stuff" - so too cool.

The desserts at Be Our Guest are among the most lackluster for a TS restaurant. I suppose it's possible the desserts are made there as a poster stated above but it seems more likely they are just assembled there. There are far better places to have dessert and far, far better ways to spend those calories...

I don't think most people are going there because they have to have the desserts. They are going there to see the Beasts castle and to meet the Beast. And to do that they have to order something. Either it is a late ADR and they will have already eaten dinner, so they just get dessert, or dinner is too expensive, so they just get dessert.

Just responding to the OPs question which is asking about the desserts, and doesn't mention anything about the cost of the meal or needing to meet Beast.

They did answer the question though as to what is the best dessert and I share the same sentiment as they did. I'm of the opinion why can't BOG not only offer it's great atmosphere and to meet the Beast but also offer something on the menu other than cupcakes, cream puffs and some funny stuff somewhat like mousse and call it, "The Grey Stuff." I get it during lunch when it is a QS, but in the evening when it is a TS I think Disney can do better than desserts found at most QS restaurants throughout WDW.

Yes, sorry, I know you were. i just meant I don't think too many people are really concerned about how good the desserts are (although maybe the OP is). They are mainly going for the Beast and atmosphere of the castle. I know we only went last year so my daughter could meet the Beast. We knew that we would just get dessert because the dinner is so expensive. The desserts were fine. The strawberry cream cheese cupcake was our favorite, but still in no way the best dessert we've ever had.

Depends on whether or not you need gluten free.

Their gluten free cream puff is out of this world.
