Ive waited months and months to get in here and i finally got a reservation...for dinner, which i wanted lunch, but all they have is dinner options...my question is, would my mom and myself be able to order off the kids menu? we're clearly over 9, but we'd rather eat off that menu than the adults...will this be possible?

Well, lunch is QS and dinner is TS.
Most TS restaurants will allow adults to order from the children's menu, but will sometimes make a larger portion or charge more.
we don't mind paying a bit of an up charge, but we just couldn't justify paying $35 for something we weren't even sure we'd like. hopefully, they'll allow us to order off the kids menu without an issue :)

Just be aware that the kids portions are small. Perhaps they'll give you an adult size for an extra (double) price.

You can always ask to have the offending ingredients left off a dish. If it can be done, they will do it.

I'm guessing its getting inside the castle and the BOG experience that you are really after? Have you considered sharing an entree? While some are quite petite (like the seafood cup thing), the steak is a bit more substantial and could definitely be shared. I'd also keep looking for a lunch or possibly a breakfast ADR. I have ordered a child's meal at lunch and had no problem doing so (the braised pork). For breakfast, when you consider you are given a tray of small sweet breakfast rolls/croissants as well, sharing an entree is not only doable but seems to be a strong trend given the flat $20 price tag.

yes, we just wanted the experience...and we both ordered off the kids menu, we got the steak and it was plenty...and they had rolls, so we was satisfied
