I just got off the phone and Be Our Guest is not accepting new ressies before September dates and are not releasing any cancelations back into the system. I'm extremely sad about this. Guess we will be lining up at 10am for a spot for CS lunch.

AWWWWW, I really wanted to eat there!!! Maybe they'll take walkins early? i can always have Turkey Legs!!!! My favorite!!

I heard that they underestimated the time their patrons would stay... guests are enjoying the atmosphere and tables haven't been turning as quickly as other restaurants. So they were "overbooked." They must be hoping cancellations will ease some of the overbooking????

Again, I'm not "in the know" but read this here or on the Liners chat.

That's too bad. We tried getting reservations @ 180 days and were closed out. Oh well. It will be there...

The CM I just spoke with told me they ARE releasing cancellations into the system! I specifically asked this question, just to get her response. The fact that a couple of weeks ago, I was able to snag a time for BOG for May 11, after previously showing no availability, tells me they are releasing them. But, who really knows for sure???

The CM I spoke to said they were not releasing cancelations and he said he wouldn't even try to look for anything for me. They weren't accepting anything new before late September. Wonder why the CMs aren't on the same page.

Reservations ARE being released. You were given misinformation. The dining line is open from 7am ET until 11pm ET.

There were no calls in queue tonight after 11:15CT, so unless you called from the West Coast, what you are stating is untrue.

The issue is that BOG reservations are very hard to come by, and there are MANY people stalking the website, refreshing the page several times a day looking for a reservation. This results in cancellations not being available to those just checking randomly.

I assure you that at least "I" check every time I receive a request for BOG, no matter the date, time, or party size.

True This happened to me twice once for April and the i snagged one opening week last year 3 days prior so this thread is completely unfounded. Keep stalking the website like the rest of us

I keep trying to snag a different night for our July trip with no luck.

Would you suggest online? or phone? to have the best chance??

I can confirm that they are releasing cancellations!!!! I checked 9/24 through 9/26 earlier today, and there was no availability. However, I just checked a few minutes ago, and I got a table for 6 at 6:35 on 9/25. I am soooo excited! So, just keep checking away. Worked for me!

I called yesterday and the cm didn't even look it up. She told me they were told not to take reservations for August because they were full. I thine asked her if they were releasing cancellations and she said no. I guess tomorrow I will be trying to snag one online.

It's wrong that the CM's don't try checking and are just assuming. I understand the fact that most likely there may not be a reservation available since it's that popular. I am mentioning this because I just booked the Fireworks Dessert Party thanks to DIS boards. This past Monday, I refreshed on the hour and the half hour online since early morning. Noticed just after 12:30 pm that there were times available but the site wasnt cooperating. I called Disney to reserve and the CM told me they havent opened reservations for May yet, and I politely informed her that times just became available online. I ended up getting my Dessert Party Reservation and I have a BOG dinner ressie at 5 pm the same day. I got these with luck and thanks from DIS. It bothers me that they don't take the time to check.

Don't give up. We did not book our ADR's 180+ days out since we only booked our trip about 100 days before. I snagged my BOG reservation online in the early am, 5:45-6 am EST. (I actually found two reservation on two different days, and decided on the one night) Try checking then. I had a choice, but I did check every day for about 3-4 weeks. It wasnt till I check first thing in the am before work, that I lucked out and got a cancellation. The question is how long does it take to get released back into the system, if at all. Good Luck!

From what I have been hearing most people are snagging them in the early AM as you said. Unfortunately, I am on PST time and waking up daily at 2 or 3am to check just isn't going to work for me. I can't image what havoc that would do on my body and attitude. :lmao: I've been checking the moment I do wake up, which is about 9am EST so long after most people there are at work and several more times daily but am about ready to throw in the towel since it is so aggravating working with the site which has had numerous issues as well as simply not knowing if I even have a chance since I am not in that time zone. I've been using the new AND old site each time I check which just takes so long to do, especially since I have to search for "dinner" then also for 6pm and again at 8pm to make certain it is checking for every time for the 5 nights I'm there. I've also had issues in the past finding tables for two - they seem more rare than a 4 top.

I'm on the west coast too. Over the last 2 weeks I've snagged 3 BOG reservations (and a CRT) for the week I'm going in May. None of these were done super early in the morning and I'm only trying a couple times a day, just got lucky trying. There was a day where a bunch of BOG openings popped up all at once, it was posted here (I think in the May thread). I really don't think the time change is an issue, its purely luck.

I think you may be over complicating the online search. If you are open to the restaurant's page in the new site just search for dinner on each day. If there is only one time available it will show up. My times are around 4pm and 9:30 and they showed up just by searching "dinner". I have had zero issues with the site other than slow loading, I'm using Chrome.
