I just made lunch reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant. But this is a counter service at lunch? How does that work?

You order at a kiosk or in advance, and food is brought to your table. There is no wait service. You have to find your own seating and fill your own drink.

It is kind of like Chipotle.

So does having an ADR even reserve you a table?? For instance, my ADR is for 12:45 (a popular time) am I going to be sure to have a table?

No, it doesn't reserve you a table. ADRs for breakfast and lunch are based on how many chairs are in the restaurant.

You find your own seating.

Can someone remind me how you get a lunch reservation in the first place? Does it come up when you look for restaurants? or is it a separate website?

You make the ADR the same way you make any Disney ADR, using the Disney Dining Reservations page.

Since it's a TS restaurant at night, they do have a check in area before you cross the bridge (moat?) where you check in for breakfast and lunch too. They will send you over the bridge once you are checked in, then a CM will divide the line for pre-orders or not. Pre-order is often walk right in, while the main line is sent to the kiosk area to order (CM's will help you there too to keep the line moving).

Both lines pay with DDP, cash, charge, etc., and for those who pre-ordered they will ask if there are any changes. Either your MB or a "rose" they give you will allow the food runners to locate you anywhere inside. You find your own table, get your own drinks and silverware, and the food comes to you. I've heard that once your locator stops moving they assume you've found a table and your food comes out, so be sure not to linger chatting or by the drink area too long without moving around!

All your food will arrive at once, and you can refill your drinks at the self serve. During some busy times it might take a few minutes to find a cleared table though. We prefer the Rose Garden room, it's not as themed but also not as noisy as the main ballroom or the West Wing. At least can carry on a conversation there.

Yes, do not stop moving and just stare around the room or wait for a dirty table to be cleaned. I've seen food arrive to a dirty table because the guests stopped moving.

I would pre-order, the other line is always really long.

Second this suggestion. You can edit your order the day of online and it saves a TON of line time

I plan to pre-order, but can anyone tell me if, when you pre-order, there is a place to make special requests....i.e. no onions, or some such thing. I ask, b/c I am a veggie, and there are a few options that *could* be vegetarian if something is removed. Thanks in advance.

I booked mine through the MDX app. Just select a lunch time and the restaurant and it should work.

Yes, you can specify leaving off condiments, salad dressing on the side, etc. If what you want is NOT an option to be checked, they can often alert the kitchen when your order is paid for. My experience has been hit or miss with this, sometimes I get lunch as ordered with special requests, sometimes get it just as it's listed on the menu. However the food runner has always been able to get it corrected. Only drawback is I get my food when my tablemates are nearly done with theirs..............

Can you pre-order the morning of? If I have a reservation at 1pm can I pre-order at 10am or so?
