I know the allure of BOG is inside the castle, I'm just looking for something "different" to eat. My wife love Cosmic Ray's ....and last time I got Tomorrowland Terrace(lobster roll) and brought it to Cosmic Rays. Has anyone ever gotten lunch from BOG "togo" TIA

They don't really have "to go" containers. Even though it is quick serve it is still brought to your table and served with actual plates and silverware, or at least it was this summer. Plus, it is a waste of an ADR to just try to get food there to go, because of course an ADR is needed here even for quick serve.

BOG isn't set up for to go dining. You will need to make a reservation to get into BOG, but it's CS at breakfast and lunch so you can choose any table you want. Once the food is brought to your table you can pack it up and leave. Since the food is served on real dishes you will probably want to bring a plastic container and/or ziploc bags to pack your food since there's no guarantee that they will have any to go containers.

Your wife can order Cosmic Ray's and bring it to BOG. If you are ordering something, she does not have to, they don't know that you aren't splitting it, or she can just order a cupcake or drink. That would probably work better than trying to pack up your food at BOG and take it to Cosmic Ray's.

I agree. The set-up at BOG is not conducive to take out at all. Although it's technically QS, it is not a quick process. First you check in like you would for TS, then you wait in a line on the bridge. Then you wait in line to order at a kiosk (if you haven't pre-ordered). Then you sit at a table and wait for them to bring your food to you on regular bowls/plates, with silverware, etc. (nothing plastic or paper). Unless you bring your own containers and are willing to wait upwards of 30 minutes to get your food, it's just not going to work. I would either bring other QS in as PP suggested or try another QS altogether.

I would have your wife bring hers to BOG, as others have said, it's not set up as a regular QS. It's a great atmosphere. She could just order dessert, the cupcakes are amazing!

Just make sure to make the ADR for two so you can both get in.

Yes, we did this in December. I really wanted the roast beef sandwich and couldn't get an ADR for more than 1 person so I booked it and had DH take the kids next door to Gaston's Tavern while I went in and got the food at BoG. I pre-ordered for the two of us and told them what I wanted to do. Ironically, they told me they would have let us all in if they had been there with me at check in. Oh well. I brought foil in ziploc bags and packed up the food when it arrived. The server offered to get me containers, but I didn't need them since I came prepared.

Some food of course is easier to transport than others so keep that in mind when you place your order.

Seems like it'll be impossible to time it for her to bring Cosmic Rays to BOG......Oh well....maybe my next wife!!!!! LOL
