I was able to score a dinner reservation for our upcoming trip in June. It is at 8pm, but I figured I wasn't going to do any better!

And then I happened to get a ADR for BOG for 630pm for the night before. Now I have to decide if we're going to do two nights in a row at BOG or if we will try and switch it out for something else. What would you do? We thought about 1900 Park Fare (we love character meals) but we've been before and the travel time takes a lot of time out of our Magic Kingdom evening. We aren't big seafood eaters/new cuisine, so Cali Grill at Contemporary isn't really a good fit for us. I've heard Chef Mickey's isn't great. Would you switch it out for a Plaza or Tony's or would you just do BOG twice? We are DxDp if that matters!

And yes, I realize this post might be obnoxious to anyone that can't get a BOG reservation. I totally lucked into both of them! :cool1:

Certainly, with two little princesses, one could dine in different rooms and have a different perspective! And, it gives you twice the choices for selecting just the right meal. I say go for it if that is what you want to do! There are so many reasons why to dine there two nights in a row and so many reasons why not to dine there two nights in a row. You can't go wrong either way!

Enjoy! Karen pixiedust:

No. What about Crystal Palace if staying in MK. 1900 PF was a really fun dinner for us, I we would pick that.

I would never plan two nights in a row at a restaurant I'd never been to! I know BOG is the all-coveted ADR, but it may turn out not be your favorite. I have heard some sort of meh reviews. Some love it, some say once was enough. You'll need to go and decide for yourself. If it turns out you do like it, you could always try for lunch another day. Are there even two different meals that everyone in your family would want to have, or would it be the same thing two nights in a row? Honestly, we were hard pressed to find one meal that sounded appealing to us for dinner--that's why we went for lunch instead!

Having it booked two nights in a row--when there are soooo many other choices--just seems like overkill. If you're trying to stay in/near MK, how about 'Ohana, Liberty Tree, Kona Grill, 1900 PF, Crystal Palace?

I was going to suggest the Crystal Palace also, we love it there for dinner! You can always try to fast pass lunch at BOG if you want to try both menus. However, it's your vacation so if you want to do BOG twice, then do it! :)
