Good morning. My window for pre-ordering breakfast at BOG has opened. I was hoping someone could answer a couple questions.
1. We are a party of 4...3 on adult dining plan and 1 child. We always split meals when we are at QS. if I order two adult meals for a reservation for 2 are there going to be issues? I'm guessing not, but want to confirm.
2. On the dining plan and this is breakfast. Is it just an entrée and drink? If I want a cupcake I pay because breakfast doesn't normally have dessert?
3. If I do the dining plan and only have 2 entrées but 4 drinks, does that mean I have a split check? One dining plan and one out of pocket?

Trying to decide if we should just order when we get there or try the pre-order. Tia

1. No.

2. Yes. A cupcake will require you to pay or use a Snack credit.

3. No, you'll have one check. The two meals will pay on credits, the drinks cash.

If you pre-order but don't have a magic band how do they know what you've ordered?

Does it save a lot of time to pre-order?
In my experience, yes. I had a pre-opening BOG brkfst last Fall and since I pre-ordered, my meal turnover was much faster so I could get out and get in a couple of rides on 7DMT b/f the park opened.

It does save time, although how much in general, I won't guess. That part will depend on how pokey people are being at the kiosks. Where it can save a good chunk of time is with allergy-flagged orders, which can often be a bit of a wait for quick service. DH's allergy-flagged pre-order was at our table even faster than my non-allergy order (delivered by separate staff). It was jarring, considering the kids are usually half-done with their food by the time he gets his!

Unless they have changed it, you will get a plate of pastries for the amount of people who order so you will have your sweets you wanted instead of spending money on a cupcake.

Thank you! I am gluten free so this helps!

Actually, we didn't get a rose... we did ask how they know where to deliver your food, and the CMs will tell you "it's magic." Our order was completely accurate, and like I said above - the allergy-flagged order was delivered entirely separately from the non-allergy order in our party. We decided to just accept the magic and neither investigate nor question it. :)

LOL!!! I agree, MAGIC! LOL! I think you will get a magic rose.

I am not sure. I think BOG beakfast is vey fast. I have not preordered before, and the only hold up I experienced was the two times, Both at lunch, that I got behind very pokey people. No matter how the CM's tried to help these two parties, they refused but coud not manage to order.

So I am traveling with my MIL and SIL who have their own confirmation number. However my PPO reservation has all six of us on the reservation. If I pre order how will my MIL and SIL use their dining credits to pay?

I'm pretty sure the magic comes from the "Big Brother" tracking device on your arm. :)

Unless it has changed or my memory is faulty, we didn't pay in advance when we pre-ordered... we just placed our order, and still had to scan in when we arrived for our meal (which is when the credits were deducted). They can split up the credits deducted within your party for table service, so presumably it's like that for BOG even though it's counter service. I know I made all the ADRs for our 10-person extended family trip two years ago, but 10 credits were never deducted from our 4-person family when we settled up - the wait staff just deducted however many credits from each family group as he/she was told to. It wasn't like CRT where you had to pay with a credit card or tell them you were using dining credits to hold the res.

Having said that, even if there is some screw-up somewhere, you can always have your MIL and SIL use their credits to get your CS meal another time. The CMs don't care. I know we used ours for my nieces when we took them with us to dinner on their parents' "date night", and my BIL just used their credits for my kids at a later meal. ,
