I made an 8am Be Our Guest reservation before Early Morning Magic was announced. How will this affect our getting in line for Mine Train after eating?

You’ll be held until right at 9am when EMM ends and the park opens.

You still get to line up early and be among the first on the ride.

BOG guests looking to ride generally start lining up along a fence between BOG and 7DMT, then at some point closer to 9am they will move that line to the 7DMT standby line. You’ll be there before the rope drop masses.

You can see variations on a theme on the exact particulars on any given day, but this is generally how it works.

At around 8:50 we were walked through the standby line and were allowed to board right at 9:00.

How long is the wait from EMM during that time? We're west coasters so super early mornings are extremely difficult but have always been curious about how saturated fantasy land is.

What exactly do you mean by “how long is the wait from EMM during that time?” Just want to be sure I answer correctly. Thanks!

Just wondering if the EMM crowd is enough to make the wait substantial for 7D, so do you have a backup from EMM or is it pretty much walk on during the experience?

During EMM, 7DMT tends to be a sliding scale of waits. Everyone tends to go there first, then other rides later in the event.

We did EMM on 5/26. Rode 7DMT 5 times between 8:32 and 9am. The longest wait was 3 mins, 32 second. We were the only ones on the train on our last ride at 8:59am.

We didn’t ride before 8:32am but the lines looked longer.

Experiences tend to vary though. During past events we’ve had upwards of 10 min waits at peak times. You occasionally see reports of higher waits on the EMM thread.

A few mins here or there can mean a lot at these types of events.

Do you think I would still have a short wait after getting out of Be Our Guest by 8:30-8:40?

Holy schnikeys, 5 times? That's pretty awesome, I had no idea it was that lucrative. Venturing a guess Peter Pan is similar?

Rightly so on the waits, you're paying extra for every minute you're in there. Also what time did you finally hit the breakfast bar?

Thanks!

YMMV on any given day, but as I was walking to 7DMT, which would have been around 8:30am, there were approx 20 BOG people lined on the 7DMT fence. I did not walk by there after that but I can only assume the line continued to grow materially.

So, you’ll have the wait until 9am, then a few trains before you get on. Still better than being in the rope drop crowd!

I was actually surprised at our mileage - we BARELY got in #5. I hadn’t done the new format yet and people tend to think it’s a higher guest count than before (which we had done several times). But overall we had a great morning and it delivered as expected.

Like I said, the line ‘looked’ pretty long (I’m guessing 15 mins) early in the event, but I can’t speak for actual times. On this particular morning, waiting until the last 30 mins paid off.

Peter Pan was a walk on when we did it early on. We’ve never encountered much of a PP wait during this or past EMM experiences.

There are a decent number of people at this thing though, full disclosure, so it’s not like you’re the only one around.
