Do you think that Disney will make the new be our guest resturant a signature dining place. They have already priced cindys castle out of the reach for many famalies, just wondering if they will do the same with this castle.

When they DO add it to the dining plan, if they do, then most likely no. The Beast's castle will not be as "woth it" because you are not eating in the park's icon that has been the only WDW castle since the opening in 1971!

If the restaurant is operated by Disney it will be on the dining plan. Most likely even if it is not operated by Disney - there is only one in-park restaurant that does not accept the dining plan (Bistro de Paris). As we have no further information about the restaurant we can't even guess at credit counts.

Are there any updates on when it will be open? I want to book another trip, but would like it to be after it is open. I was thinking either next Thanksgiving or Presidents week in February 2013. I'd prefer next Thanksgiving since I've never seen the parks decorated for Christmas and its less crowded than Presidents week, but afraid everything wont be open yet since its still 2012.

I'm leaning towards one credit. It's supposed to be CS for lunch and TS for dinner. I can't imagine it going from CS to a signature at night.

Ah but we don't know anything about the whole CS/TS thing - it could be like La Hacienda de San Angel, which provides seating for La Cantina at lunch but doesn't serve its own CS. It could very well be providing extra seating for those eating food from Gaston's Tavern at lunch, with no service from BOG and no "show," but is a signature restaurant when it serves in the evening.
