I just wanted to post this little warning about people exiting the buses with their ECV. My mom used an ECV for the first time last week in WDW. The bus drivers we encountered were great. A couple of them made sure they told my mom a couple of times to make sure she drove straight off and don't turn the wheel till she was all the way off the ramp.We didn't think much of this till I saw an elderly gentleman drive off another bus turn the wheel of his ECV when the front wheel hit the pavement but the ECV back wheels were still on the ramp. The back wheels when off the side of the ramp and the ECV flipped on its side and the gentleman took a big spill.Luckily he was not hurt and actually laughed about it. It scared the crap out of the driver and the people who were with him.Just a little warning to be careful.

The same thing can happen with curbs if you don't go up the curb ramp straight (happened to a friend at Disney).

The ramp that worries me is the one for the monorail. Going into the monorail, no problem. Exiting the monorail, I have to back the ECV down and concentrate on keeping the wheels straight and the speed rather low. I have my own full-time ECV, so I'm experienced. But I think of inexperienced (perhaps elderly) ECV renters backing down the monorail ramp at exit... I wish the ramp was somehow "wider".

I do fine on the monorail but my wife almost went out the exit side when loading once and the next time I rode it a guy did go right thru and out the exit side
