Be Careful on the chairs at Peco's Bills

We arrived last Friday for a wonderful seven days. We arrived at MK and rode Pirates of the Caribean. Then we decided to eat at Peco's Bills for lunch. My Ds2 almost 3 was sitting on the chairs with no back on them eating his lunch. He fell off the chair and landed on the clavicle. He cried unlike any other cry. He shortly stopped then went on playing and having a good time. However whenever we would touch over his clavicle, he said it would hurt. We got back last night and he still said it hurt. This morning I took him to work (I am an xray tech for an orthopedic surgeon) to get some xrays. Sure enough he broke his clavicle. Its a small break, but he has to where a brace for a few weeks. When we were leaving Pecos Bill's there was another little girl who fell off the same kind of chair there too. So please watch out for those chairs.

He went on playing and had a good time? WOW! What a trooper you have there! He must have a high tolerance for pain.

Poor baby, I'm so sorry that happened, and thanks for the tip! You know, I've sat on those chairs 100's of times with my kids and never thought about the possibility of one of them falling. I certainly will think about it in the future.

Owww, poor sweetie! I broke mine when I was 7, and I swear I can still feel it.

I don't know what the heck they were thinking when they changed to those new stools. I know they are uncomfortable, but I didn't think of them as dangerous.

You should write them a letter, and tell them what happened. And that you saw another child take a fall. Disney really should know that those things are not safe!

We did think about letting them know, but who would I ever contact. The only number I know for Disney is the reservations line.
