BDP for April in deluxe?

I love the excitement that comes with new codes. I am helping friends plan their spring break trip. Has anyone gotten a deluxe for the first week of April using BDP? Travel dates are April 3-8. Just trying to get an idea as to what to tell her. Thanks

I called this morning and changed my courtyard ressie to use the BDP rate (sadly, I had to move to a woodsview). But as I was doing that I asked about the Deluxe rooms. The CM told me that there were no courtyard rooms available, but there were standard, woods and deluxe.

I called my SIL who is going with us and who booked a deluxe. She called right up and was told there was no BDP rate for the deluxe. Not sure if the first or second CM was incorrect or if they sold out for her time-frame (April 16-23).

She should call soon if she is interested to check for herself. Maybe she'll get luckier than me (wanted a courtyard view) and my SIL (wanted deluxe). Actually the CM convinced my SIL to get two connecting woodsview rooms (they have 3 young children) and it was about $800 cheaper.

I got WL CV for April 1-April 5 at $198/night + tax. This was around 10AM eastern this morning.

WL woods view on April 1 - $175/night. Saved about $130 from regular rate. Only staying one night because we're moving from OKW to save on points the night before we leave to come home!

We got AKL Deluxe Savannah view bunkbed room for $317 a night and regular Savannah view room for $206 a night (>$80 savings from Rack Rate). This was for April 15-17.

I got a tower room at CR for $232. a night from March 23-30. (Easter weekend) I was afraid there wasn't going to be anything available. Hopefully we will get our request for MK side.

I called at 7:02AM this morning and got the Wilderness Lodge standard view for $161 per night for 4/6/05 - 4/10/05 (Peak Season).

Was quoted 427.00 for GF LV. For 4/16 - 4/22. Savings of 191.00 over rack rate or 129.33 over AAA.

WL woods view for $195.13 including tax for April 5 through the 11. Had been $315.55 with AAA discount for a savings of $722 for 6 nights.

Beach Club standard view $307.74 April 11 through the 16. Had been $404.75 with AAA discount for a savings of $485 for 5 nights.

The rates are for "PEAK" season.

$307.74 for a standard room at the Beach Club? Wow, that seems like alot for that hotel. Just last year the AP rates were something like $209+tax.

I agree it is a lot! The rack rate before taxes for a standard room at the BC, YC, and BWI for 2005 is $404 a night during "PEAK" season versus $334.00 during the "Regular" season! It is $520 a night before tax and discounts for a LV room at the POLY! That is why we won't be staying at the POLY this trip!

I even kind of choke at the WL rates too. Paying $1171 for 6 nights this year when last year I could have gone for just over $1540 for 10 nights for the same view!

This is a general code discount and I am hoping that AP rates will become available! We may rebook and go later when the rates cut back down to regular season; but that means adding an additional trip! Unfortunately, DH agreed to listen to a timeshare spiel for a non Disney Hotel chain in Orlando. The last possible date to go for that is April 2. In otherwords PEAK Season!

Diane, use the 800 #, 800-828-0228. I called around 9:30 today and the entire transaction took about 15 minutes. When I called for the last code, BAT, I started dialling at 7AM, was disconnected a few times, when I finally got through the transaction took 62 minutes! I got a rate of $198 per night for Wilderness Lodge Courtyard View during peak season APril 1-5. This same room was quoted to me at ~$375 a night on Monday.
