Hi! So, anyone want to share some of the party places that they've had bday parties at?? :cool1: My kids have had bowling, ChuckECheese, Michaels (a craft party for my dd!)....what are some other good party places??

Let's see.. WE have done bowling, basketball games for the HS or one of the college teams, Party Safari (it's like ChuckECheese), ChuckECheese (or as I refer to it.. Chunky Cheese why? I don't know), pool parties, we did an at home Survivor party a few year back, we've done a "Make Over" party for DD and her friends one year, we went a saw our semi-pro teams play soccer one year...

we have done
the movies
pool party at the local indoor pool
indoor playground (local one)
bowling
gymnastics center

we have also done "chunky cheese"!!

that is so funny, because that's what we call it too nancy!!!!:rotfl:

we are doing the local children's museum this year! hopefully it will be fun. wish us luck with it, because it's a first for our family so i hope it goes over well!

thanks for all the ideas so far!! :thumbsup2 I'm trying to find something (NOT IN MY HOUSE :rotfl2: ) where it would be easy to supervise a bunch of 6-7 year olds. I know that lots of parents don't stay, so I'm trying to come up with somewhere that's easy to keep my eye on them! I forgot one too, my dd had her party at her dance studio...very fun! Keep the ideas comin'! :)

I don't know how I ever came up with it..but my kids to this day laugh at me.. and the oldest is 15... and can you believe they are installing one of those establishments the next town over.. OMG! I'll forever be calling it "chunky cheese"

Besides some of the above suggestions we have either had or gone to parties at our local pet store (they have a party room attached and the kids get to pet, hold or look at a large variety of animals),
plaster craft store,
pool party at a hotel,
laser tag place,
I know ther are others but can't think of them right now.

I haveonly done one party outside the house but it was a huge hit -it was at a local farm. My sons bday is in October. It was warm that day too so that helped. The kids each got a pumpkin and painted it, there was a corn maze, a hay bale maze for the younger kids, hay ride, crafts and such. It was a huge hit and was talked about for years. We had cake and lite munchies

We have done alot of the parties listed but the best was at our house...I had a reptile guy come. DS just went to a roller skating party...boy, that was fun...he doesn't know how to skate...:) at least he tried...right?

the farm party sounds like it was so much fun!!!

hey FormrCastMbr--just saw your Jack Bauer link... I love him! (I tried to start a "Do you know Jack?" thread before the season premiere, but not too many people knew what I was talking about! hmm, imagine that! LOL)

I have had the "chunky" party, ice skating, roller skating, swimming, bowling...my kids love the bowling ones...
