For our upcoming adult only fwf weekend we will be celebrating dh birthday. I am on a wait list for a special dinner that night but not holding my breath since it sold out in less than 2 hours. As a backup i have a le cellier ressie. It isn't our fav resturant but we do enjoy it and since we are going for fwf and staying at BCV without a car i don't really want to worry with V&A or other resort resturants. I am thinking about switching to the bistro at the 30 day mark. Has anyone eaten there recently? Anyone celebrated a birthday at either one? No mention on the birthday cake thread of either one. Or anybody have any better ideas?

Thanks

For adult only and since it sounds like you will be in EPCOT anyway..definately Le Bistro. You can mention his birthday when you make the reservation, but remember, Disney is not required to do anything special..so don't be expecting anything. The food at Le Bistro is fantastic, so is the service.

Oh, and for your special event you want to attend that night..I would keep calling. We have known many people who make ressies for "sold out" events a day or so before they head to WDW...so sold out right now..definately does not mean sold out the day of the event. If you really want it..don't rely on wait list though, just keep checking yourself.
