Bcv??

We are going to WDW May 1-8th and because it is just DH and I, we really wanted to stay at BWV but they were booked all but two nights. So we are staying at SSR which is fine, it is just that we usually always stay there. I have tossed around trying to get into BCV but there is something about it that puts me off. No offense to anyone who loves it there, but to me, it seems really uppity. We are not uppity and like to dress down and everytime I have walked into the place, everyone seems like they are dressed to the 9's. Do I have to wrong impression of the place?

I would say that's a wrong impression. None of the WDW resorts are "uppity", and you're not expected to wear fancy dress at BC, or anywhere else. You'll see people in bathing suits, t-shirts, shorts, as casual as you'd see in the theme parks, all over BCV, and any of the WDW resorts, from the All-Stars to the GF. If anything, people who are dressed up at the resorts are in the minority.

Maybe you happened to walk past a bunch of people who were gathering for a business meeting or wedding reception, but that's certainly not the norm.

Well that's good to know. We have walked through a couple times and always seem to get people looking at us like we are crazy for wearing shorts and t-shirts. I will talk to DH tonight and see if he wants to try and switch.

If BWV is full...there's very little chance that BCV has availability. Wish you the best of luck though.
