Ok, we just got a last minute reservation for BCV and will be checking in tomorrow! DD(18) and I have stayed there before, but only for 2 nights and we didn't really have time to check out and enjoy the resort. Besides Stormalong Bay, what do you enjoy (or not) about the BC/BCV?

Make sure you do a holiday viewing walk of the whole BW area.
BC, YC, Swan, Dolphin, and BWV all in one afternoon/evening stroll.
Each resort will have in the lobbies a holiday display.

Not a fan of SAB, but I do like being so close to Epcot. When we stay there, I will usually decide to go see Illuminations when Bill doesn't want to. So I'll head over there about 10 minutes before the start, watch from the bridge between Great Britain and France and then be back in the villa 30 minutes later.

And if you have a car, parking is very convenient.

No car this trip but we are looking forward to being close enough to pop in and out of Epcot( especially for all the holiday performers).

If you catch the boat back from HS at the end of the day, stay on the dock by the lighthouse to watch Illuminations. If you like an old fashioned soda shop, try Beaches and Cream. The quietness of a leisurely walk through International Gateway at Epcot opening on a beautiful morning is nice! We also enjoy the turtles in the canal at BCV.

Love sitting in a chair in the Solarium, listening to the background music and while reading (just bring a sweater because it can get chilly). Love sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch facing the water watching and listening as people come out planning their day.

The Solarium is actually in the BC and it is a lovely room. The BCV also has two sitting rooms, the Breezeway and the Drawing Room The Breezeway is close to the pool and the Drawing Room has a television set in it (at least it used to).

Be aware that Beaches and Cream is now taking ADRs...catching some people by surprise!
