BCV Waitlist for Nov...

Do you think we have a chance to get into BCV on 11/2-11/6?

We have ressies at OKW, but hubby told me last night that he would really like to stay at 'home' at BCV.

So I called and got on the waitlist for a studio and a 1Bed. The nice person at MS put me on the list until 7-days before arrival.

We won't be dissappointed at OKW, but since we just joined and 'home' is BCV, we would love to stay there first.

Do you think we have a chance? How has your luck been in the past with the waitlist?

I waitlisted for a Sunday through Thursday in late October back in late July. It came through very quickly. If I understand it correctly, new units become available for DVC members on the waitlist as new units are sold. I assume this would make it easier to get your waitlist at BCV as new units are being sold all the time. I want to extend our October 19 trip by one night and am currently on a waitlist for that one night. I think the resort is all booked up during that week, so I guess my chances aren't that good. Sure wish I had figured it out when I made my initial reservation.

Good to hear the waitlist came though for you!

I have learned in the past to "over" book my reservation instead of trying to tack on additional days. I learned this when I was making cash ressies. Now with the points, I will have to be more aware of the deadlines.
