BCV vs BWV ?

Keep going back and forth and can't reach a decision. Which resort 1 br would you choose and why?

One vote for the Boardwalk.

Unless you are looking for the best pool, then it would be BCV.

Who is in your party? What are their ages? What time of year are you going? Is a pool a consideration.

They are both lovely and many people like both for different reasons. We've stayed at BC/BCV many times and I really like the proximity to EP, however, we LOVE the activities over at the Boardwalk. We also like all of the food options (Boardwalk Bakery, all of the walk-up QS food windows, Ample Hills and 4 TS restaurants) and the nighttime entertainment. Some people don't like the clown pool, but we really love it. My DS9 loves the slide and I like the fact that I can sit on the pool deck and see where he is the entire time (unlike the pool at BCV where you have to go all the way across the walking path to get to the slide entrance). I also like that the pool bar is inside the pool area (and the bathrooms are right there too). Everything is close by and accessible. I also like the theming better. Again, both lovely resorts and the 1-bedroom villas are fantastic, but if I had to choose, it would be BWV!

Boardwalk is our favorite resort for most of the same reasons noted in DisneyWishes14's post. But with that said if you're planning on a lot of pool time, you can't beat BC's pool area ! As I say in a lot of posts, there is no bad decision here, both are great resorts !

I agree with the others...BC has the best pool at Disney, however we prefer BW. We like the resort and the location more than BC. BUT, I'd stay at either one happily!

I loved our stay at BWV. One thing that no one has mentioned yet is the fact that BW is closer to HS. Once we got off the elevator, it took us about 13 minutes to walk to HS. BW isn't as close to EP as BC, but it's still a very short walk.

Well we have stayed at both also. I didn't elaborate cause, I was interested in what other people thought was a stronger point over the other resort. What we are going back and forth. Is more the rooms. Not sure if we really care for the "new" bathroom and tub in the BCV redo. Yes, the soaking tub is pretty however; looseing the jet tub, with a view of the tv. Not sure if I will be happy with it?
You also do get a larger balcony at BWV. Now, with the work at the BC/YC they are supposed to be moving bus pickups over near bcv parking? So guessing lots of people walking through there will increase too.
As far as pools go > yes we prefer SAB and the bcv pool is nicer too.
But bwv has a nicer view.
Food choices are probably prefered at bwv too.
But is there or is there not construction at bwv? Months ago we where going to take BWV and the warning signs on disney site about poor parking and heavy construction scared us off. So we did BCV and now are re thinking that, since all the warnings are removed except for people saying painting etc...

Unless this is happening AGAIN, the BC/YC bus stops have been back to their original spots for a few months now.

I'd say BCV. I just love YC/BC. The Boardwalk is nice. But I don't really like the pool. Personal preference.

That's really interesting. Maybe the bus stops are temporarily moving again. When did you receive the notice? What did it say?

If you have a car, parking is much easier at BCV than BWV. Especially if they have an conventions going on at the BW. Or they still have construction.
