For those that own there or stay there.....do you request a view?? I think we requested pool view last year. We had a view of the quiet pool not directly over it....but off to the side.

We don't request any "view" at BCV. We usually request top floor so that we won't have noise coming from overhead.

Pool, tree, courtyard, Epcot are all recognized by the room assigners. "Epcot" is on the Epcot side of the building, "tree" is the wet land area towards Crescent Lake, "pool" is on the pool side of the building, and "courtyard" is towards the front entrance.

Is Epcot worth requesting???

If your lucky, you may see a little high fire work action and maybe the tops of a couple of the buildings if you get a high floor. If you get a lower floor, you get a view of the road.

:confused:I'm a little confused. Is "courtyard" view facing out towards the lagoon? If you are high enough will it allow you to see the lagoon or Boardwalk? I think that would be a nice view as well.

Courtyard faces Crescent Lake but the view is blocked by the BC. You are looking at the courtyard that is next to the walkway between the BC and BCV's.

We had several rooms for our family over the past two weeks and had some really good views of Illuminations.

Our first room was #461 (dedicated studio). It had a very long balcony which wrapped around the corner to the left. it offered a view of the the building in Canada and had a good view of illuminations (you had to go out on the balcony and go most of the way down the balcony to get the most unobstructed view).

Our second room was #533 (dedicated 2 bedroom w/2 Q beds). It had a very long balcony as well (at least 25 feet long). You could see the eiffel tower in Epcot as well as the Swan and ToT. This one also had a great view of illuminations. The only thing you couldn't see was the lights and fountains on the WS Lagoon (you could see the fire and all the fireworks).
Another part of our group had room #544 (lock off studio) which also had a very good view of illuminations.

So I would guess if your request an Epcot view be sure to ask for a high floor, which seems to help quite a bit.
