BCV View Options

Hi all,

I am looking for recommendations for a view request at BCV. We have been there before but it's been a long time. I remember the woods view being loud and the pool view was a little hot/sunny to sit on the balcony. Are there other views that I am not aware, or do you have a specific area that you like and why? If so, how would I word the request to MS.

Unfortunately, BCV is not known for its views. We've had the pool view and agree that the balcony can get very hot and is too sunny to really enjoy during the day. However, we did not think that it was noisy. We also had a studio on the SW side of the building that faced the canal, walkway and courtyard. It was an upper floor, so pedestrian traffic noise wasn't an issue.

that entire building is just pushed out to the side.....no real "views" to brag about. Road, Parking lot, or woods is about all there is.

Is there a section on the woods side that is quieter perhaps? Aren't they planning to do some construction near the entrance at the International Gateway for the new gondola? I wonder if that is affecting the woods views negatively. Has anybody been there recently?

I found another website that has a good map of the BCV, it shows three main sections of views--pool, EPCOT, and woods, there is also a small courtyard view as well. Does anybody know of a big difference between the woods and EPCOT view goes, especially in terms of noise levels? Or does anybody recommend one area over another? Thanks!

Actually we usually request woods view in the "jog" off to the right, and it's been VERY quiet. DH is a super-light sleeper, and even he commented on how quiet it was. I think the odd numbered rooms in the jog face the woods, but the even numbered ones face the road-those aren't quiet at all.
