Will I be able to get from the BCV to the Poly for the Ohana breakfast at 7:30 am by bus, or should I get a cab?

If the busses are running (Disney Dining says they aren't :confused3 ) will the bus go from the BC directly to the Poly, or should we get off at the TTC and walk?

If we can't take the bus, are there any cab company's that will have a car seat? My DNephew2 will be travelling with us and I don't think my DSIL would want to lug around his car seat all day. Or, would you just put him on your lap and hope for the best?

Thanks for all the help. I have never done Resort/Resort travel this early in the morning without a car. :sunny:

Some cabs do have car seats, you need to have the valet call to request one so equipped, and it could take a couple of extra minutes. It's going to cost about $20 including tip to take a cab from the BC to the Polynesian as an FYI. But it's certainly the quickest least stressful way of going.

As far as getting there any other way, it depends on a lot of factors, including what time the MK opens. If it's an 8:00 AM opening you'll have no problem taking the bus to the MK then transferring to the resort monorail for the PR. I'd allow at least 75 minutes for that option.

From the transportation section from the main page on DIS( not the forums):
'Character Breakfast busses start running at 7:00am, and run approx every 15 minutes. They have the flexibility to allow direct transportation to the theme parks, and area resorts.'
so you can get a bus possibly right to the resort, just look for the bus to come that says character breakfast and tell the driver where you need to go, ask them they may be able to take you right to the resort if the bus isn't too full or else to MK and then transfer over. I don't recall what time the monorail starts, you can do a search (if you get it to work) or someone else may know on here---i am sure someone does, the dis boards rock!!! You can ask your concierge when you arrive also and they can help you with transportation options. Have fun!!!!!!!

The busses for the MK area actually start about 6:30. So be out at the bus stop by 6:45. If the bus driver can't drop you off right at the Polynesian, you will have time to take the monorail (starts at 7AM) over to the resort.
