We are staying at the Beach Club Villas and have reservation for Mickeys Backyard BBQ. We are doing Epcot that day but would like to go back to the hotel for the afternoon to relax at the pool before dinner. So instead of walking back through Epcot to get a bus to Wilderness Lodge we are thinking about getting a cab (for 6 people) to go from BC to WL.

Here are my questions:

Approx how much would the cab fare be?

Can the cab take you directly to the FW pavilion or will it drop you off at the main entrance of the Wilderness Lodge?

Any better ideas?

Thanks

Cab cannot take you to the pavilion. You can have it drop you off at either WL or FtW Outpost. From WL, it's a 5-minute bus ride, with buses running every 12-15 minutes. From the Outpost, it's a 12-minute bus ride with buses averaging about every 5-10 minutes apart.

You could also just take the bus from BC to MK and take the boat to FtW. The Settlement boat dock is about the same walking distance as the bus stop. That would take longer; you should allow 90 minutes to be safe.

Thanks for the info. Any idea on fare price?

I thought about this option as well and will most likely use it getting back. However, I thought a cab might save me some time at least getting there.

Yeah, the actual trip should average an hour, but you need to allow the extra 30 minutes to be safe on the way over. Going home, you don't need to worry about that.

If you're waiting for the boat to MK, remember that you can also take the boat to CR and walk 10 minutes to MK, but when comparing the line lengths, keep in mind that the boats to MK hold many more passengers than the ones to CR.
