Is there bus service to DHS in addition to the boat service?

Nope, no bus service unless it's appeared in the last year. I got caught in a thunderstorm at DHS last year,boat service was temporarily suspended and I asked about that. All the CMs I asked said no bus service. Fortunately,Florida storms don't last long.

It's a long walk back to the BCV from DHS - and it's probably twice as long if you have to walk in the rain, LOL.

Last year we stayed at the BWV with our 21yo son. He always slept in and met up with us later. One day he called us and said he would be meeting us at DHS. Fortunately he mentioned that he was waiting at the bus stop. He had been there for a half an hour and was wondering where the buses were. I felt so bad that I hadn't told him there was no bus service! Make sure everyone in your group knows this!
