BCV studio sold out, now where should we stay??

Just got word that the BCV we wanted to stay at on our honeymoon are all gone!! Now where should we stay??? I usually stay at BWV 1 bedroom, but wanted a change to go to SAB pool. Should we just do BWV?? We usually buy the room on weekend at WL which we plan to do, so i think maybe VWL is out. Never been to key west but seems out of way. What about saratoga springs??

Okay, first question is are you booking cash through CRO? or are you a member trying to book on points? If you're only looking for a studio, and booking cash through CRO you could ask what's available at BC or YC for SAB too. If you don't mind giving up the kitchenette. If booking points and are a member you could waitlist for the studio at BCV's and book at BW.

We are going to rent points from a member that we rented from before. I just thought it would be nice to try someplace different like BCV for our honeymoon, maybe we can see about waitlisting it. What about SS, how are they?? or is BWV better?

SSR is suppossed to be beautiful but I can't speak from personal experience as I have yet to try it out. If you like the DTD area though, it may be worth a try as you can walk or take the boat there

OKW is beautiful and so peaceful but some do feel it's kind of out of the way. If you'll have a car though, you may not feel that way. It's just not walkable to any of the parks and transportation is all buses with the exception of the boat to DTD (there's also a walking path to DTD).
OKW is also the only DVC resort with 2 queen beds in the studio. All others will have 1 queen bed and a pull out sofa. Depending on which configuration you prefer that may help you in your decision too.

You could always either go with a studio at whichever DVC you prefer as a 2nd choice and waitlist for BCV's and could luck out with it coming through or you may want to spring for the extra $$ of trying for a 1bdrm at BCV's since you normally stay in a 1bdrm anyway and it is your honeymoon That's assuming of course that the member you're renting from is willing to waitlist for you or has the extra points for you to rent.

We tried booking a studio at BWV and BCV for May 1-6 (from your count down, it looks like that's close to your honeymoon). Both resorts were booked that week--guessing for the Disneyland 50th Anniversary kick-off. We were told that SSR, VWL, and OKW were available (as off Monday 1/24), we ended up booking at SSR. Good luck finding someplace to stay!!

Just keep in mind that CRO and DVC Member services book from 2 separate room inventories. So while CRO may not have rooms available (CRO only retains 4% of the rooms at each DVC resort plus any they obtain from members trading out) MS may have plenty and vice versa. Not sure which you were trying to book from but that can come into play.

We booked through DVC Club Member Services. Although I'll miss the BCV and the BWV, I'm anxious to try SSR.
