BCV studio 7 months out?

Hi everyone! I just posted this in the resorts forum but I think this forum is better. Is it difficult to get BCV studios at 7 months out? I am strategically looking at the weekend before F+W starts in September (so, Sept 19-22)--but when I can also take my niece to MNSSHP. Ideally I'd like to rent points at BCV, but Poly or GF would also be amazing (though I have no idea how obtainable Poly is). Would working with a DVC rental store rep 7 months out be a good bet?

i would rent from an owner in the priority window. expect $14+/point

I rented at BCV for a low crowd time (like when you are going). It was easy to get a room, even 4 months out. I was getting a 2BR, so I don't know if studios or 1BR's are different. But in that you are going at a low crowd time and it isn't F&W, I'd guess that booking in the priority window isn't necessary.

BCV studios were open at 7 months out in September before Food & Wine started in 2012, 2013, and 2014. However, there is an extra risk this year. BCV is being refurbished during 2015 and that means at any given time there can be a number of rooms out of service for refurb that normally would be available to reserve. Probably you will be OK but have a back-up plan. Note, that back-up plan likely cannot include a VGF studio because those have become difficult to get 7 months out almost any time of year now. For resorts right next to a park, BWV pool/garden view and BLT lake view are highly likely to be open.
