BCV rooms near Epcot

Hi I was wondeirng if there are ceratin rooms to request that would be closer to the walkway to Epcot or if the villas are all near the walkway. I was also wondering how long it takes to walk to the Studios.

BCV is pretty smal so there is not as big of a walking distance. Most people that request rooms at BCV request EPCOT views. The views are nice and you can see some fireworks at night. Some people say that the rooms are a little noisey from the street below. It is a 5-7 min walk EPCOT from the hotel.

Pretty much all the BCV rooms are close to Epcot. And you are only about 20 minutes by a casual stroll from DHS.

I wouldn't worry about it. There are only a couple of ways to get to the International Gateway from the BCVs. Either one is only a few minutes difference. Since the average Guest walks 7 miles a day at WDW, what's a few hundred feet more?

Since all BCV rooms start from the connection to the main hotel and stretch toward the parking lot, you would request "close to lobby" to shorten your walk to anywhere except the bus stop, which is about the same walk no matter where you are in BCV.

We got stuck at the far end and we found it was a long walk to the food, Stormalong Bay, dock, anywhere except the quiet pool and bus stop.

When walking to EPCOT, you can follow a path along the woods line past the first floor patios around to a little gate.

We found the walk to EPCOT was 10-15 minutes (with 6 year old). We did not walk to MGM with our 6 year old but we have from Boardwalk, where it is 15-20 minutes so I would have said a little longer from BCV, as much as 30 minutes. I could do it in 20 but only if I power walk.

The walk home to BCV from Epcot after the fireworks is blissfully short. While other families are still staggering toward their buses, you're already in your hot tub. However, the walk from DHS is quite a bit longer (30 minutes if it's late and you're tired) so we usually take the boat home.
