BCV Room Controller

Does the BCV have a room controller that we can fax room requests to prior to our stay? We have done this in the past at other non-DVC Disney resorts, with great success.

If the answer is "yes," does anyone have the fax number? Thanks!
 
There really is no reason to do this if you stated your preferences when you made your reservation...
 
MJS....if you are staying on cash ressies, then this might still help you the same way it does for the resorts. We used this ourselves and found it to work well at the regular resorts.

But if you have a ressie on points...then the requests are supposed to be taken at the time of the ressie. So those who request at 11 months would be ahead of those who requested at 10 months, etc. So theoretically, putting requests in a week before arrival should put one at the bottom of the requests list.

I understand that they are experimenting at OKW right now to not pre-assign any of the rooms....first come, first serve on check-in day. Personally, I think that would be a very unfair way to conduct business, especially for those who fly in and can't check in until later. Everything else at DVC rewards good planning...why shouldn't room requests?

I put my requests of non-smoking, top floor, Epcot view in when I made my reservations at BCV on the first day anyone could make reservations for BCV. I also faxed in a request just to make sure. I was not even pre-assigned a room upon arrival. This was on Septemeber 30th. I was told that they were trying the first come first serve thing that OKW was trying.
