BCV - renting points & booking w/CRO?

Hi everyone!

New to this board. Planning a 7 nite trip in August - dates flexible. Looking for a 2 bd BCV suite. Saw another post that suggests renting points only for the weeknites and using CRO to book the Fri & Sat nite stay. How does this work? Can we stay in the same rooms or have to move? Appreciate any other suggestions/comments on BCV. Never been there before - only WL. Thanks!

You will probably have to move since there two seperate reservations. I have heard of people requesting not to have to move when they check in, and it working out. You never know. I do know that Disney will not guarentee you the same room on two different reservations. Give it a try. Worse case you have to pack up and have the bell man move your bags to a new room in the same resort for you.

Ask if the reservation #'s can be connected. If not (since one will be through DVC), fax the resort a few days before arrival with the information and the reservation #'s and request that you not have to move. Also mention it at check in.

While Disney won't guarantee that you won't have to move, I can't recall reading about people having to do it. However, you might have to go to the front desk and check out/check in on paper and get new room keycards.
