BCV Questions of what to bring

Hi Everyone!

We're staying at BCV in a 2 bedroom in a few weeks and my only other DVC stay was at AKV in a studio. I'd like to use the coffee maker and washer/dryer and was wondering what the best items to bring were? ie: do I need coffee filters, if so, any particular kind? Also, what works best in the laundry machines there? I'll probably just hand wash the few dishes we use. Do they supply dish detergent or should I plan on bringing my own little bottle?

Any other tips or advice is greatly appreciated!

The coffee maker is a full size (10-12 cup) Mr. Coffee brand brewer that take the basket (flat bottom) style of filters. There will be one or two starter packs of coffee in the room. The will replenish it on trash & tidy days and full cleaning days. You can purchase additional for $6 each. Or bring you own favorite coffee. There will be a small bottle of liquid dish soap and packets of detergent for the dishwasher. For laundry, there will be atleast one single use box of tide. You can by more in the laundry room, or bring some. For laundry, many members have started using the Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheets.

Hi, Just wanted to add that I noticed the ages of your children and you may want to pack a few sand toys. The pool area near the YC has a great "beach/ play area for young children. Enjoy your stay! My family LOVES the BCV!! Joan
