we are staying for 2 nights at the end of our trip and planning to hang out at the pool complex. i know it has a sandy beach. was wondering..do kids bring sand toys or is the sand not deep enough for that? thanks so much for the input!

I have seen children with sand toys and I think that the kids meals at Hurricane Hannahs come in sand pails - at least they used to. If they don't play by the pool some play on the beach on the other side by lake. Have a great time.

I believe my son purchased sand toys for his son at the pool itself a year or two ago.

You can buy some items at the pool but you will save money by bringing them with you. There is definitly a lot of sand. When we were there in June there were sands toys just laying around. I am not sure if someone bought those or if Disney had some left out.
