What about 1st floor convenience,or is 1st floor too noisy? I would want a 1 BR nonsmoking and don't know whether to request a low floor or not. Opinions, please, from folks who have had pool view.Did you like what you got, or would you request differently next time.
Thank you all !!:D

We have started to request first floor pool view after our last trip to the BCV. We had an EPCOT view that was really a first floor view of the service road. We have had first floor before at the BWV and really loved it. Our next reservation is for next New Year's and our request is for first floor pool view.

From one cat to another.... thanks for your reply!
Any other 1st hand info out there?

We were there last week in room 470 great view of the pool
and the front of the resort.

We had requested a 1st floor pool view arrived at 8:00am sat morning and nothing was available so we got room 470 we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony with our coffee in the morning.

Have a great trip:D

Hi~

We were in room 336 a couple of weeks ago, (I had requested NS/high floor/Epcot view!) which is a nonsmoking 1 BR with perfect poolside view. We absolutely loved it! It was right in the exact center of the building (if you look at one of the pictures) and the third floor was "just right". Not a big balcony, though. Just big enough for the 2 chairs and table. We would definitely request this room again.

Nancy,that sounds perfect!
Any balcony that allows for good viewing while seated would be great. The BCV just looks fantastic, and I really think pool view would suit me best.
Thanks again for posting!!:p

Hi.

We were at BCV last fall and had a third floor room overlooking the pool. Very nice.

We're going again in May and we're requesting a "courtyard view" first floor. I think these rooms are near the main elevator and closer to SAB.

I'm hoping the first floor is private since it faces the courtyard. I wouldn't be crazy about a pool view first floor because of the privacy issue. Hope this helps.

We were there in January 2003 in a 2BR (I don't recall if it was a dedicated 2BR or a lock off), room 134. It was a great room!!!! The patio doors looked out onto the pool. All we had to do was walk out our patio doors, cross the grass, and we were at the pool/hot tub area. It was great!!!!!!!!

I think I would be happy with anything!:D
First floor does sound good..... but do people constantly walk past ( or on ) your patio to get to the pool? Are the patios separated from each other in any way?
Gosh, I do appreciate all your help!!!

do people constantly walk past ( or on ) your patio to get to the pool?

No, the patios are set back so that people can't be walking by. They also have small plantings around them. But there are few that are close to the sidewlaks where you enter the building.

Are the patios separated from each other in any way?

Yes they are separated by plantings for the most part. I'm not sure if they are all completely separated however. For example a one bedroom and a studio may not be completely separated. We ahev had both a studio and a two BR and both were separated from others.
