BCV - pool refurb always 1st week in May?

The past 3 years it seems that the huge Beach Club Villa pool is closed for rehab around first week in May. Is this typical every year? Just trying to plan a vacation next year and want to stay there specifically for the pool and dont want it to be closed during our stay! Thanks!

I had friends who went last year. I'm pretty sure Stormalong Bay had been closed for rehab but re-opened right before they got there, which I think was Easter (April).

I believe this year the whole pool area isn't closed, just the slide.

Spring 2009 SAB was closed February and some of March. They close it in sections.
