BCV pool questions

We’re thinking of booking 1 night at BCV to do a pool day only. How does it work to get into the pool area? Do they give us wristbands at the pool or checkin? If 2 in our party go to a park for 1/2 a day, will they need to do anything to get into the pool area to meet up with us? If we get to the hotel early, can we swim even if the room isn’t ready yet? Thanks for any help!

If you're talking about the Beach Club Villas (DVC) "quiet pool" - there is no restriction to access. Note they have recently been doing some construction around that pool but I think it is finished. It's a smallish pool - no bar, snacks; no lifeguard. For the primary Yacht & Beach Club pool, Stormalong Bay, you need to present proof (via magicband) that you are a resort guest to enter and you get a wristband. In terms of when you're "eligible" to use - can use day of check-in before your room is ready and day of check-out until midnight (and obviously in between).
