BCV or BWV during Fall Food & Wine Festival

Just how hard is it to get into BCV or BWV during the Food & Wine Festival? I've finally convinced my husband that an adult vacation to Epcot would be great but since its less than 7 months away I'm worried that we'll have a hard time getting a room. Any thoughts?

If you are flexible, I think you'll get a room at some point during it. Some times will be more full than others due to Columbus Day and a religious holiday as well during early October.

Whether to stay at the BCV or BWV? At this point I would take what you can get. Either place will be great for it. We changed a planned November trip to October about a month ago so we could do the F&W festival and were able to get a 2BR BWV preferred view.

I just booked 11/5-11/10 at the BWV boardwalk view studio yesterday. that is the only times that they had for BWV, i didn't even ask about the BCV. I will bet that larger accomodations are available.

I am renting from a DVC owner, and here is what we have arranged....October 30th(1st anniversary) BWV 1Br standard villa...Oct 31st thru Nov 5th, studio at BCV. When he called to book we started with a studio for the 30th and the rest of the time at BCV with me wait listed at BWV. I then decided that he could take me off of the wait list and we could stay at both. I have always wanted to stay at both so I saw this as the best of both worlds. The DVC owner then suggested since it was our anniversary that maybe we would like a 1br with the jaq(sp), I agreed and he had no problems changing it...so maybe that time is not filled yet!

I called and booked a 1br Oct 2-8 with no problem.

I've made ressies at the BWV for 10/7 - 10/15, no problems (did that about 2 weeks ago. Friday I called and made ressies at BCV 11/28 - 12/5 again, no problems.
