Bcv Or Boardwalk?

I am looking to rent points for a trip in November and I cannot decide on which resort to stay at the bcv or bwv. Any thoughts? :wave2:

Honestly, there aren't that many differences. They are located right across the lagoon from each other, so no matter which one you stay at, you'll have the convenience of location: you'll be able to walk to Epcot, walk to any of the restaurants, shops, arcades, etc. from either resort.

Also, the rooms are very similar in layout--only the theming is different.

The deciding factors may be prices of each resort, the theming, and the differences in pools (BCV has Stormalong Bay, a very large sand bottom pool and BWV has a more standard looking pool with a clown waterslide). Hope that helps!

We stayed at both this past Jan. The big differences to me were that BC is relatively quiet and BW is pretty busy. You will love them both. They are both within walking distance to MGM and EPCOT- yes we walked to both and loved that we could walk to both. BC is closer to EPCOT and little further from MGM and BW I'd say is pretty much in the middle of both. I'd suggest walking to either of these 2 resorts as the boats can be slow. We beat them home from MGM the night we walked home. Tere's definetly more shopping and food places on the Boardwalk then there is over at BC, but you can always walk form the BC to the BW to get that food. It's a nice evening walk.

I've stayed in both numerous times, and have a definite preference for the BWV. The villas are larger, and the choices in the Screen Door General Store are much more varied than the store at the BC.

I like Community Hal, what a great concept. I like borrowing videos from there, it's fast and easy--not so at the BC if there is a line at the register. :(

We've had some housekeeping/engineering issues at the BCV, and in one case, they were never resolved to our satisfaction. At the BWV we've never had a problem that wasn't attended to very quickly.

I would have to say BWV as well. I am probably one of the only ones that really didn't like SAB that much! I really didn't like the sand bottom. The kids liked the pool, especially the slide, but prefer the BWV as well! Good luck.

Well your not alone. Have stayed both places and I prefer BWV as well!

Boardwalk is my favorite! BCV seem to be an easier reservation to get though. I love being in the middle of it all at Boardwalk. Also, BCV has a lot of parking lot views. I didn't notice a size difference in the rooms. The decor is very similar. My kids prefer the BW Keister Coaster to the SAB slide. They said the KC is faster.

BCV are closer to Epcot though and we spend a lot of time there. Even though Boardwalk is my favorite, I will gladly stay at BCV if I can get the ressie! Most of all I love being in the Ecpot/Boardwalk resort area. It's so nice to have the ESPN Zone, Spoodle, the Brewery and all the Epcot restaurants to chose from.
