I tried to get to the occupancy thread but I have no way of posting there so I decided to do it here if it gets moved then so be it. Now my question is if a studio and 1 bedroom sleeps four can a studio or 1 bedroom sleep 5. it would be me my husband 22yr old daughter and our 6yr old twins. my eldest daughter and twins could sleep in the same bed if need be. any help please. I just don't know which room to book a studio or 1 Br the space does not matter we can deal with it for a week or more.

studio: not an option.

1BR: unofficially, 5 are allowed but you are on your own for sleeping space (inflatable air mattress is a good idea), linens and towels for the 5th person.

1BRs at AKV, BLT and OKW have a sleeper chair for a 5th person but BCV does not.

A BCV studio has one queen size bed and one full size pullout sleep sofa.

A BCV one bedroom has one king bed and one queen size pullout sleep sofa.

I think the only option for the 3 in one bed would be the king bed in the one bedroom if only using existing bedding. However, neither of my girls at age 22 would have agreed to share a bed with 6 year old twins, LOL. Good luck..

I just stayed in a studio there 2 weeks ago with my grandaughter and it was fine for 2 of us but would have been crowded with more. I would not try it with 5. There is no place to put a blow up mattress in the studio, but would work in a 1 bedroom. I really missed the 1 bedroom - especially the washer and dryer!

We did it all of us in a studio about 2 years ago. but now that they are older was wondering if it would be possible if they would allow it . either by renting points or buying them

would they allow the 5 of us in the studio ? if we brought our own stuff I just don't see in spending all those points if it's only going to be for a few days

No they do not. If you want/need room cards and ME for everyone in your party, you need a 1 bedroom.

None of the DVC studios will allow five in a studio unless one is under the age of three. I don't understand how they allowed all five of you in a studio with all of the kids aged three or older. Two years ago the six year old twins would have been four.
