BCV members use of pool

We are BCV DVC members. Can we use SAB or the BC quiet pools if we stay at another disney resort.We just stayed at the BCV's in March in a two bedroom using our points and were planning on coming in in December and staying at the Dolphin ( great rate). Are we permited to come over and use the pool at all. We might want to spend an afternoon there if it is allowed. Thanks.

SAB is available only to persons staying at YC/BC/BCV and no one (including DVC members) staying elsewhere can pool hop too it. Not sure about the quiet pool.

You are not permitted to pool hop anywhere unless you are staying at a DVC resort on points. So if you are staying at the Dolphin, you can't pool hop.

Also, to the best of my knowledge, nothing identifies which is your home resort. Our cards just say "DVC Member", not "DVC Member-home resort--". So at SAB, they don't know if it's BCV or one of the others.

We were at the Beach Club Villas just last week and went to Storm Along Bay often. They were doing wrist-bands and checking resort IDs every day. Even so, the pool was crowded (and it's off season).
They do not check IDs at any of the quiet pools: there is no supervision at these pools (no lifeguard, etc.)

As the others have said, you can't pool hop when staying at the Swan/Dolphin. Even when you are staying at another DVC resort, BCV home resort or not, you can't use SAB unless that's where you are staying. I wouldn't be too concerned....you may not want to use any pool on a December trip.

I wouldn't worry too much about not using SAB on your December trip to the Dolphin. I'm not sure if it's the Swan or the Dolphin but one of them has an awesome pool, too, that is open to guests staying at either hotel. We walked around last year and saw it and I wished we could pool hop there.

The Dolphin/Swan pool (there are at least three of them) is wonderful, you'll enjoy it. The one pool has a nice slide, and a huge waterfall that you can get behind and enjoy shade. THere are chairs undernieath the waterfall area as well It has two bridges going over teh pool, so there are places to swim out of the sun. It's great, perhaps the third best pool at WDW with SAB, GF and then the Dolphin/swan pool. There are plenty of activities there, a great beach area, etc. Enjoy.
