BCV laundry facilities

I had read here that the laundry facilities on the 4th floor are free to use for the BCV guests. My parents are currently there (and we will be joining them in just a few hours ) and saud that it is $2 to wash and $2 to dry.

Does anyone know when this changed?

It just looks like the machine requires money to operate, since they've adapted a commercial machine. You can't actually put money in the slots, they are blocked. Just push the coin drawer into the machine with no coins, and it will start. I made the same mistake. When I went back with the "correct" change, I figured it out. Diana

Jody, when I was there in Dec, it was still free. I think the coin slots are there, but it works without putting the coins in.

I did the same thing, went all the way "home" to get the correct change, only to find out the slots are blocked.
