BCV In oct.

Anyone with a BC contract willing to check to see if a studio is available oct 20th to 25th?

I want to know how likely it is I will be able to book this at 7 months?

Not very. Its food and wine. If you call right when your window opens, you might find something available, but it will be gone by the end of the day. Make sure to make reservations at home now. Its possible to get completely frozen out of DVC at that time of year.

Calling now does no good since availablity will start changing ALOT when you get to the seven month window and people start booking their trips starting on their own check in day.

I also want a studio there for 19th-27th Oct. Don't fancy our chances though.

Or you might get lucky because some BCV owners might want to switch out at 7 months. Yeah, there are a few of us crazy people. I'm holding reservations for 9 nights, but I want to do a split stay, so at 7 months I'll be hoping to switch over to AKV for the last few nights. Not your week, though-earlier in October!

Yep, which is why I said "not very" - its even possible that rooms won't free up from switching but will be available. You never know until you try, unlikelier reservations have happened.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Thanks for the info. I already have my full res at my home resort, so not a huge deal if I dont get it, we plan on doing some hopping.

We got three nights last year at the 7 month mark in a BCV studio on Columbus Day Weekend. Of course, it is possible! Plus, as nice as BCV is in regard to EPCOT, there is now BLT which is likely to pull some of the traffic away this year.

Just wanted to let you know....

We are renting points from a friend and although he can't make our ressie until 3/3 for our October trip he called just to feel out the situation and was told as of now there was availability...however they also told him to call right at the 7 mos mark. We do have backup resorts though in case it is not available.
