BCV in december

Has anyone who's home resort is not BCV had any luck getting in for the first week of December. I'm trying to decide if I should wait the few months or just book at my home resort now.

Where is your home resort? If it is SSR, I think you can wait as there should still be availability there at 7 months for early December (if you can't get into BCV). If your home is elsewhere, my advice is to book your back up reservation now, before the 7 month window opens. Can't hurt and could save you from the waitlist.

It is my understanding that early Dec is a very busy DVC time. You can book your home resort and then try to switch at 7 mos. That way even if you have to go on the waiting list, you'll have your home resort for that week as a back up. Good luck!
