BCV in 2 weeks...view options?

My wife and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary in two weeks with a stay at a BCV studio. We've never stayed at BCV, and I'm curious as to whether I should request any certain view, and if so, what's the best way to make the request?

The views at BCV aren't the greatest..Options are view of the BC resort driveway, Woodsview ( with a partially obstructed Epcot view and a service road below it) and Quiet pool view.We like the woodsview or the quiet pool view, but very often tend to get the driveway view.BCV runs at about 100% occupancy most times and isn't all that big so view requests are hit and miss

How to make your request:

If you're staying on a cash reservation, call 407-WDISNEY.

If you're a DVC member, staying on your own points, call Member Services.

If you're renting a reservation from a DVC member, the member will need to call and add the requests for you.

I would definitely take Deb and Bill's advice and request a higher floor. Also, I think the pool view is the best view, so I would put that in as a request as well. Unfortunately with the small size of BCV the chances of you getting your request are limited, so make sure that your requests are listed in order of preference.

Unlike some other resorts I don't feel as if any of the views at BCV are that great, like a Boardwalk view at the BWV. That said, I have never been unhappy, even with the Service Road in the distance.
Since BCV runs at near capacity all the time, requests are hit or miss.
Last trip I requested higher floor, water view (pool or canal) and we were given 2nd floor woods view. About as far from our requests as possible. However, I loved the room. The woods view was fine and we were close to the elevator, making the walk much less.
