This was quite a shock and a coincidence. On Nov. 22 I called Timeshare store and got on a list for 100 BCV points. Already a DVC member, I contacted my guide, Jim, and got on their list for the same and asked for a June use year. I was told it would probably take a while to hear from either. Well, on Nov. 30, Jason from TTSS called and had 100 BCV points with an August use year. I would have to use 82 points which were borrowed into this use year and would only be getting 25 points 8/1/06. The next afternoon Jim from DVC called me and said he had 100 BCV points with a June use year and 100 points now and 100 6/1/06 at $93 per. Which offer do you think I took? Which is the better deal? See if you agreed with my thinking.
I can't estimate without knowing the TS's dollar-per-point price. BTW, unless the price spread was wide (taking in account the extra points shifting around), I'd probably go with DVC's offer to get a consistent contract and use year.

Aren't sold out resorts from DVC $92/point, or did the price go up?
Yor are right. I meant to type $92 pp. It came out $90 cheaper than the Timeshare Store. $9,200 vs. $9,290 due to the closing costs of TSS. To get the same use year and all of the points were the main factors in taking the DVC. Meanwhile my brother-in-law (not a DVC member) jumped on the 100 BCV points from the TSS and hopes they pass ROFR at $89.00 pp.
