Now you have me questioning myself.

I just asked DS6, who forgets nothing!! He slept on the second bed, and he confirmed that it was a sofabed.

I think I remembered it as 2 queens because the bed was never used as a sofa. We pulled it out the first night and never put it back into sofa mode.

Sorry. :confused3

Don't feel bad. My DH has taken to call me Dory lately. I used to have a great memory but I think it went bye-bye when the second child came along!

Thanks for getting that straighten out. Now the balcony (or lack of one) theory still holds!

WOW!!! This is great!! I LOVE IT!! I can throw my old pencil drawings away!!

I have been trying to track the 2 Bed/2Queen rooms that have been reported on the boards. So far I have 23:
233,
302,307,323,324,333,341,342,351,352,353,367,368,377,378,
433,441,442,451,452,453,
533,553

So far all of these rooms do not have a balcony in the second bedroom, only a window. If this theory is expanded then 253, 301, 304, 334, and 354 are possible 2 queen rooms.

Thanks for the info, I will add it to my research data and try to put it on the maps somehow.

I think none of us have the memories we used to, or still think we do! That is why it took so long to pull the plans together. I cross referenced all reported data, from various lists and trip reports, but found many conflicting and contradicting information.

So, I went to the original plans as the authoritative data. For example, by looking at the plans I could determine which rooms were HA - based on the fact the plans showed showers in place of the bath tubs. For smoking rooms I had to just trust the cross referenced reported data - because they are not marked on the maps.

Now, when it comes to which rooms have 2 queen beds - that is something Disney can change and so the original plans don't help. Here I have to rely on the "reported" data again.

I'm not sure if the data is 'good' enough to add to your maps ...yet. I'm fairly convinced about the window in the second bedroom being an indicator. This was initally mentioned by TerryS a while back. I had my DH take pictures around BCV last trip and I was able to confirm, using the original floor plans, that all reported 2 Queen 2 bedroom villas (that I was confident in the report) did have a window in the 2nd bedroom instead of a balcony. If it holds true for the rest there may actually be 28 villas with 2 queens. Once the data is considered correct it would be nice to see those rooms noted as a slightly different color since they are a seperate room type. This might help others understand that they are a different type of reservation.

Your maps are wonderful! For some reason it looks like the studios ending in 31 look bigger? Are they and do they have balconies? THANKS :confused3 We will be there in April!

I looked back at the original plans, and those studios are not bigger than normal, even though they look it on my maps. It looks like the dividing wall between the x31 and x29 rooms is double width - probably to accomodate a wet wall or other utilities.

The x31 studios do show that they have a small balcony.

Does anyone know how much of a view of Epcot room525 has or other rooms in that vicinity. I think this area is the woods view rooms but was wondering if you could see buildings in Epcot and fireworks. And is there a service road on this section? Thanks, Melissa

We stayed in 547/549 last December, which is a woods view, though out on the other wing from 525. From there we had a partial view of the World Showcase part of Epcot - towards the France pavillion, but we could not see Illuminations as it was too far to the left of our view. I would think from 525 you should be able to see some fireworks, but I cannot confirm that.

As for the service road, it runs basically up and down the map, to the right of rooms 551 & 552.

However I would like to point out to anyone using these maps to pick a room to request, that it is unadvisable to request a particular room number as you are very unlikely to get your request. You are much better asking for a general area, such as "upper floor, woods view, end of corridor". I am not sure if MS will even accept a request for a specific room number.

We stayed at BCV room 304 this past July 17th-25th. Our dedicated 2 bedroom villa had access to the 2nd bedroom via the foyer and had 2 queen beds perfect for DD 12.5 (she tells me she is closer to 13 than 12) and DS 10.
Hope this helps anyone planning a trip.
Hi Hessekids,

We will be staying in a dedicated 2br with 2 queen beds on our next trip in Nov/Dec. Did you like having a view of the quiet pool? Was it ever noisy? Would you have preferred a woods or EPCOT view?

DisZip,

I can't believe how much work you put into this!

This is SO helpful. I've printed off all of the pages and am now making plans. We'll be in a dedicated 2br with two queen beds. Having never stayed at BCV, I didn't know much about the resort and it's layout. With your maps and some of the rooms numbers listed in other posts, I have a much better idea of requests to make.

THANKS AGAIN!

Thanks for the Dedicated with 2 queen report! I almost missed your post. I'm up to 24 now!

OK, who does a guy have to bribe around here to get this same thing for BWV? :)

At the risk of being redundant, WOW!!!!
I've wanted something like this every since buying at BCV in 2002. It's better than I dreamed!

Thanks to everyone for the compliments.

I just replied to another thread, about BCV room views and was thinking that it might be good to add some photos of the views, so if anyone has some and is willing to share, PM me with a way to get the photo and the room number it is from, and I will add them to the page.

Still looking for submissions of photos of the views from various BCV rooms.

Does no-one take a picture of the view from their rooms?

PM me if you have any photos, with the room number they are from.

DisZip,

What can I say, that hasn't already been said?? You rock!!! :bounce:

We're leaving Friday for BCV - this map is awesome.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Mrs. PB.

You know DisZip, I went back and looked and we didn't last trip. The first trip we did but it wasn't digital and my scanner isn't working. I have seen others post some great view pics. Maybe you can ask in another thread to get their attention.

I do have digital pics of the outside of BCV if you would like them. Not very exciting but I wanted to have some info on the backside of BCV to get the balcony and service entrance situation.

Thanks again for putting that together and publishing it! :cheer2:

Thanks and enjoy your trip. If you can, please take a picture of the room view, so I can add it to the site with the room number.

Thanks for looking. I also have external pics to format and upload (when I can find the time!).

I have just added a few photos showing the views from some of the rooms.

If anyone has any pictures of the views from other rooms at the BCV and is willing to submit them for inclusion, then please let me know via PM.

Thanks,

-DisZip
