mckryan-I'm not sure. Star Tours never has bothered me but I did feel like I might get sick on Mission Space. However, it was just for a second or two. I didn't notice any lingering effects after I got off the ride. Maybe someone in your family who knows you better can ride it first. It is an awesome ride. My DH chose not to ride it as he is claustrophobic.

rbuzzotto-We really enjoyed meeting you and your family, too. Your girls are so cute. My Kristin thought they both looked adorable with their faces painted. How did you like Old Key West? My DH and I have a studio reserved for October there.
We drove around OKW when we there and we think we would like the buildings near the HH the best.

I think I will do that. I really want to give it a try, but not if I'll be sick to my stomach the rest of the day. That's just no fun!

Donna, So sorry to hear about the loss of your dad but glad you were able to be with him. I have lost both my parents. We just got back and kept expecting we might get a call about dh's dad who is in hospice care.
I was at the same member day you were and wish I could have met you and the other disers.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Like many others, we'll have you in our thoughts and prayers.

My good friend's father passed on Father's Day. He and his sister were hours from going into the jungles of Panama when they received the news and were able to return home for services and family support. If they would have missed the call they would have been unreachable and missed the funeral.

I'm so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I was at OKW last May when I found out that my favorite aunt had died. Now, when I go "home" to OKW, I've decided that it will be a special time to remember her life and how much I loved her instead of remembering her death.

I hope you can enjoy the rest of your trip soon.

Donna, OKW was wonderful as it always is. After touring BCV and thinking about an add on there, we may just try for a resale at OKW because of the spaciousness of the rooms. I felt a little cramped in the BCV model that night and it was a 2 BR!! Although it is beautiful and the pool spectacular, for now I will stay at OKW with the space and calmness..............
