BCV Different Views?

So I know there are 4 views at BCV. There is:
1) courtyard view - view of the main Beach Club entrance, walkway to bus stop, valet, and courtyard in front of BCV.
2) quiet pool view
3) epcot view - view of Spaceship Earth, Imagination, and other parts of Future World, this is the side with the road very close.

The 4th view - what is it called? This would be the area that faces a large wooded area and part of the beach club. I know you can see part of Illuminations from this area because I watched it from the ground there walking back to my room.

This seems to be a nice area to request. How would I do so? Thanks!

-if I could figure out how to attach a picture I would post one of this area.

That sounds like the courtyard view, but not all rooms can see Illuminations from that view.

Here is a <a href="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=257950">BCV report</a> that may help.

Enjoy!

I thought the fourth view was woods, and I thought that was what I got when I went last year (studio #339, if anyone knows the view). But when I called this year for ressies, they told me there was not a woods view, just the 3 you named. Oh, well-I just don't want the pool view, bad experience with pools-hope to get whatever that view's called that I had last year again. Loved it!

The map of the BCV has that area labeled as the Woods/Wetlands View. Just so you know, if you end up on the left side of that View you will not be able to see illuminations. Only if you are on the right side.

I would LOVE a woods view overlooking the canal. We love to sit out and watch turtles/ducks, etc. and would love to see the aligator. I'm still confused as to what view this is-Can anyone clarify?

Sorry, the woods view does not have a canel view. The woods view is the view that over looks the woods/wetlands that is on the Epcot side and closest to the Epcot Bridge. The canel that is on Epcot side is the area that is closer to the BCV parking lot.

The week of Halloween my DW and I had a 1 bdrm # 529 on that side. Great view of Illuminations each night.

It seems to me that there is a fifth view...that of the ferry ring or whatever it is. The rooms overlook a landscaped area, you can see Illuminations but not the canal or Spaceship Earth(at least not from the second floor.) The road runs in front of this area but doesn't seem as loud as you're farther away from the little bridge over the canal.

So far we've had an Spaceship Earth view, a woodlands view, a pool view (my least favorite by far), and this last view. I loved it.

Our view from room 551 was, I would say, a combination woods, Epcot view. Straight ahead was the woods, through which you could see the Swan, Dolphin, and in the distance, the ToT at MGM. To the left we could see parts of World Showcase, and had a terrific view of Illuminations. We were on the very top end of the building, so we could see the road as well, but didn't notice any unusual noise.

Well, I'm still confused, but I think I will just ask at checkin if we can see the canal from that room. What I'm really hoping for is one big balcony.

BCV23.. I agree with you that the views you are are referring to are 2 different views, but the BCV map just calls both those areas Garden/Epcot view. This would be the view of the canel and Epcot / Spaceship Earth and then the view of the ring of cement / garden and Epcot Spaceship Earth. I have had rooms in both spots and you definately get a different view at each.

pnelson.... Did you want an Canel view / Pool view or did you want a Canel View / Epcot View (which would also be a view of Epcot resorts blvd, which does not bother me by the way). The canel runs underneath the resort on the fartherest wing so it is on bothe sides. What size room were you looking for the big balcony on?

Terry S, from the ring of cement/garden view were you able to see Spaceship Earth? We had a great view of Illuminations but couldn't see SE at all. Still my favorite view so far. Five days to go until our next stay.

I don't care about pool or Epcot-we just would like to see the canal if possible. We have a dedicated 2 bedroom with 2 queens reserved, so I know that limits us in what rooms we get.

BCV23.... Yes, I was able to see Spaceship Earth by looking to the left. The "ring" was also to the left a bit, it was not directly below. Maybe since you were on the 2nd floor and we were on the 5th floor it made a big difference.

pnelson... The canel runs directly below 2 - 2 bedroom lock-off units, on both sides (Epcot and Pool). On either side of those 2 lock off units are 2 bedroom dedicated units. You will definately be able to see the canel from them, it is just slighty off to the side. I am not sure if either of those are ones with 2 queens. As far as large balconies, I recall seeing ones on the 2nd floor with balconies that ran the length of the 2 bedroom unit but you probably wouldn't see to much of illuminations or spaceship earth from them.
