BCV bus transportation

Any opinions about bus service from BCV to AK or MK? Are the rides long and the busses full due to the number of stops?

Yep. Also a long distance to these parks. But the bus ride is not a total downer. You meet nice people at the bus stop and on the bus. By the time the bus stops at BC, it has already stopped at Swan, Dolphin and YC. After BC it stops at BW. Sometimes they will split the bus route up.

When we were there in March, the rides were not bad at all. If you have hopper passes, you can walk through EPCOT and take the monorail to MC. My kids love to do that because they can stop and take a quick trip on Test Track. We alway do the single rider and get right in. The trip to AK was never bad at all.

Since Sunday, the busses have not been full at all and the waits have not been long. Then again, I've never had a probelm with the busses at any resort (with the possible exception of DTD busses).

We have only had slower bus service from MK at closing time, and that was only twice. We usually take whichever bus is available, i.e. Swan/Dolphin or YC/BC/BW. For the most part, the bus service is pretty quick and not too full. We also walk through Epcot and monorail to MK a lot. That doesn't work if you want to to at open or take advantage of Extra Magic Hour. But, on those days, we've never had a long wait, nor is the ride that bad. I don't remember having trouble going to AK either. We never have a car, and always use the bus or walk.

They're not terrible, but whoever had the idea to have five deluxe resorts share buses ought to be tied to the front of the MK bus as a bugcatcher.

I would hate to be in charge of the bus service at WDW. No matter what they try it seems to displease more people than it pleases. With so many Deluxe resorts so close I think they try to have more buses constantly going to the BW area resorts. That just seems to make them more crowded but at least you only need to take busses places like MK and AK. with Epcot and MGM so close you give up a little with the busses. Enjoy yourself.
